Tomorrow is the awful, looming deadline date of August 15, when things turn over into late summer and the fall semester. It's also the deadline for submitting some abstracts and articles that I was adamant about meeting up until this past week when all hope seemed lost about being able to finish anything. Still, I've got one day. I might try to turn one conference paper into a fleshed out article for the conference organizers' edited book collection. (It would come out of Canadian university press, which would be cool in itself).
