whoah the warmth

It's so sunny and warm out today. I got up late and just took Giles out for his morning/noon walk. We passed many, many people out strolling with little children and/or dogs. We went by the coffee shop with outdoor seating and all those benches were filled with chatting friends. We passed by one black puppy near the coffee shop. Giles was good and didn't growl at the puppy. Giles's dog aggression really does seem to be about bigger dogs that he needs to dominate and is afraid of. Just before we passed the puppy, there was a large, off-leash dog hanging out near his owner. The owner saw us coming and had his dog sit and stay. But when we got within ten feet, the dog came bounding at Giles to check him out, which made Giles jump and growl. I think Giles somehow aggravates other dogs. He's an outcast among his own kind. :(
I can't believe it's after noon already. We bought this atomic clock when we moved here. Unfortunately, the spot on the wall we put it doesn't seem to get the radio signal to keep the time updated (thereby sort of defeating the purpose of such a clock). Right now, I've moved it to the window to wait for it to pick up the signal for daylight savings time.
