leaky shoes

Sadly, it appears that my new shoes are not too well sealed against water. Perhaps it's because it had to endure gruelingly cold weather that cause the seams to shrink, but as I was tramping around in the melty snow this morning with Giles, I started to feel a dampness at my toes. I guess this means I should buy new shoes for rainy/wet weather! Shoe shopping time!
