ugh

I did not manage to escape Mr. Frog's cold after all. He called me while I was in Chicago to say that his throat was hurting. Over the following days, he manifested other symptoms including major sinus headaches, yellowish mucus, and general nasal sinus woes. He's been better for a couple of days now. But last night, as I took Mr. Giles out for his final walk, I felt a little stabby pain in my throat when I swallowed. A half hour later, I was sneezing, and the pain was constant. Ugh! At least I don't have to be anywhere for the next few days!
