Aww. I came in to work bright and early this morning, as usual to an empty office, and found a card waiting for me at my desk. The director left me a note saying how much she appreciates me. She's off to the Outer Banks for vacation this week, which means I'll probably be alone in the office most mornings since the other people don't trickle in until late morning or afternoon.
