I'm wolfing down reheated lentils-spinach-and-rice before I rush out the door to get to campus. I want to organize some of my class materials before I go to a poetry reading by Barbara Tran at 3:30 at the campus bookstore. I love this line in her bio: "As a child, Barbara aspired to be a veterinarian but came to believe that her allergies to all things furry might pose a not insignificant obstacle to her dreams."
