I guess I should've said in my previous entry that my posts are all job-or-dog related now. Why fight it?


Here are Giles and Dora playing. Giles is very toothy when he plays. Sigh.

Toothiness is really difficult to train out of a dog, as you have to start when they are really young, and it doesn't always work. We managed it with Martin's border collie, Scottie. It took almost four months of persistent positive reinforcement for good play and ignoring for bad play.

The worst part is realizing that Giles probably learned it from certain dogs he played with as a young puppy. If only we hadn't let him play with those dogs....
