I had already turned off all the e-mail notifications for myself since Friendster was sending me, like, three e-mails a week. Sooo annoying. I didn't want to have to login and change the settings each time they came up with more ways to advertise their site and keep themselves in the front of my mind. I found it annoying that you couldn't ask the site not to send e-mail notifications to your friends. I don't want people to keep getting e-mails saying, "What's New With Paul," especially since I don't really update my profile there anymore. In any case, I went ahead and canceled the account. Meh.
