next year's classes

We just got our teaching assignments for next year. In addition to the usual first-year courses, I get to teach both the Asian American women writers' course and the comparative internment/imprisonment writing class I proposed. Yay!

Also, this coming April, Kimiko Hahn is doing a reading down the street at Macalester College. I'm going to ask my students to go since we'll be reading her book The Unbearable Heart. I wonder if I can wheedle her into visiting my class and/or having dinner with me....
