mid-morning break, foiled!

How am I supposed to conduct my mid-morning blog-reading break when bloglines.com seems not to be updating feeds? Oh, the humanity! It's scary how dependent I've become on this rss feed reader. I used to clicky click over to every blog I read. Now I can really only read blogs if they come in through this reader.

At least I have my tasty coffee.

These are the mascots of schools I have been affiliated with since elementary school, in chronological order: gopher, bulldog, matador, bear, bulldog, ram, devil, tomcat. I am such a school geek.

evening

My evening has been sucked into the live news casts covering the bridge collapse into the Mississippi River. I'm sure y'all in the US have heard about it if you've been keeping an eye or ear on the news in the last few hours. My rss feeds of BBC and CBC news also suggest that it's making headlines in England and Canada.
