nasal lavage
Jun. 25th, 2007 05:31 pmIn the TMI category, I just irrigated my nasal passages for the first time. Nasal irrigation is a procedure that removes excess mucus from your nasal passages as well as particulate irritants.
sylliegurl mentioned using a neti pot recently, and that got me thinking that this cleansing might help with my recalcitrant allergies. I used a packaged product instead of a neti pot, but the procedure is essentially the same. It's a strange feeling, of course, but it is also quite amazing to feel all the excess mucus moving out of my nasal passages.
