stuff stuff stuff

I was so happy to see Heroes back last night. Hooray for superpower shows! But I have the same negative reaction to it that I've had with most of the episodes -- the pacing is so frustrating. The balance of holding back things and revealing them is weighted too much towards holding things back. And probably because there are so many different characters, the actual action plods forward so slowly as we get snippets of each character.

Tonight I'm going to an Antibalas show in Minneapolis with another English faculty member. I hope I'm not all awkward.

My desk at work is covered in stacks of paper. ACK!
