minor annoyances proliferate
Jan. 11th, 2007 07:38 pmIt's been one of those days, generally, where nothing goes quite right. Nothing really awful happened, but everyday tasks were all full of kinks. They were kinky. The latest, just a short while ago, was when I walked with Giles to the pharmacy to pick up my allergy medicine. It should've been an in-and-out task, and I tied Giles up outside. See, Giles doesn't like to be left alone outside very long, and I took him on this errand because I didn't plan on doing other shopping. But even though I was able to go right up to the pharmacy counter and get my prescription, I ended up in there for twenty minutes anyways because the computer cash machine froze while processing my credit card and the manager took her time coming over to figure out what to do.
