bubble tea

It's been overcast all day here. I've been very sleepy all day, too, needing a long post-prandial siesta after lunch. Well, I really just passed out is what happened. I did manage to get a couple quick errands done, though -- fill out Human Resources paperwork at school and return a few unneeded items to Target.

Now, I'm hanging out at The Tea Garden and finishing off a large bubble tea while surfing the web. It seems like at least every block has a wi-fi spot. :)

I need to find a place that allows dogs inside so I can still take Giles with me places in the winter. When I was at the coffee place yesterday, a woman asked me if they let me take Giles inside. She said she'd just moved to town and was wondering if she could take her dog in with her later. I had to tell her I didn't know because I had tied Giles up outside. I also mentioned that I'd only been in town for a few hours.

I've been trying to distract Giles with greats when dogs walk by. He's very growly and barky around dogs now. :( I guess he'll get more used to being around dogs living in the city. In Durham, when we weren't doing the dog park, he could go days and weeks without seeing other dogs. Now when we walk around the block, we usually see at least one other dog out walking her owner and a few other dogs behind fences and windows.

Something smells incredibly delicious -- I think it's the food from the Thai restaurant across the street.

I feel like there are things I'm forgetting to do.....
