GOOD MORNING CHAPEL HILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why I am so chipper I do not know. I tried to get up at 5 this morning to get to the gym before work, but I just snoozed repeatedly until 6:50. Meanwhile, Giles got fed up and left the bed.

I'm skipping my usual coffee fix this morning -- having some raspberry-flavored tea instead -- in anticipation of garlic fries and beer tonight! Woo! (The logic there, for those of you who missed it, is I'm trying to save some money now since I know I will be spending lots later.)

I am also getting ready to post a message on the cultural studies listserv asking for participants for a dog cultural studies panel. It's probably not the best time to send a message to the list since it'll get buried and/or ignored in the mass of ego-tripping missives inundating it lately, but what the heck.
