I think my students were a bit shocked to see my blue hair today. They didn't really say anything directly when I came in but they stared. Then later individual students asked me why I dyed my hair.

I've fallen behind in getting out job applications and stuff. There's a big postdoc fellowship application due next week, and I haven't asked my advisors for recommendations yet. EEK!
