I started off the day feeling like I was on a writing roll. I got a couple of good pages written (alas, not for the dissertation, but for an article I'm submitting) before 8:30, decided I needed to go with it, and e-mailed work to tell them I would be in a couple hours late. Unfortunately, I didn't get much of anything else written after that point.

I feel bad for my dog who gets left alone all day. And then when I'm home, I'm in front of the computer playing my game or working.
