Am a bit tipsy. Having some red wine as I try to get into Mae Ngai's Impossible Subjects: Illegal Aliens and the Making of Modern America. My table is still horribly cluttered but for the next couple of hours, I'm going to ignore it all and focus on this one book in front of me. Giles is sleeping under my chair.

Vacation sadly is over in less than a week. Classes start next Wednesday. I should have enough time to get a few projects off the ground before then. The major one is a presentation for a conference on Asian Americans and the Law. I'm very excited about going to the conference because I idolize many of the featured speakers. Back to the book.
