After 9 pm, not much of any work done today. I met up with a Duke undergrad who is interested in Asian American Studies stuff. She was so smart and has thought a lot about what it might mean to advocate institutionalizing AAS at Duke. She doesn't just take for granted that the program of study is important for Asian American students. She actually wants to ask questions about how it can enter the university and change the way we think across disciplines and for all students (Asian American and otherwise).

Then I did my work-for-free gig at Duke University Press.

And then I went to my gym for the first time in a month.

And then I came home.

And then Rob and I went to dinner.

And then after a bath and some dawdling, here I am wasting time on the 'net.
