lazy sunday afternoons

I don't like the fact that things aren't open 'round 'bouts here on Sundays. I wanted to walk over to the Gothic Bookshop to look for R. Linmark Zamora's Rolling the Rs and David Palumbo-Liu's edited collection The Ethnic Canon. But it's closed. And Duke, like UNC, is on spring break this coming week, so it's possible the place would've been closed even if it were open on Sundays regularly. Le sigh.

But it's been such a beautiful day out today -- sunny but dry and cool. I think I'll go for a walk anyways. Maybe go over to the gardens and do some reading....
