ma po tofu
Jul. 1st, 2003 12:46 pmI made dinner yesterday. Yes, this is an amazing thing. Ma po tofu. Chopped garlic and ginger sauteed in veggie oil; add tofu cut into cubes; add black bean sauce, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes; stir well and add some water; simmer covered for five minutes; let water reduce a bit, add chopped green onions and some toasted sesame oil. Serve with steamed rice and a side of steamed Chinese broccoli. Mmmm....
