late presentation

Ugh. Just found out our MLA panel will be Friday, December 29, 2006, from NINE PM to TEN-FIFTEEN PM. I'll probably be asleep by then.

Woo! Hmmm. Are there any MLA rules against bringing drinks to the sessions? Maybe I'll bring a couple bottles of wine or something for the panelists and two audience members to share!

I totally went to one of those panels in Philly two years ago! Except it was from 8-9:30 on a friday/saturday night... needless to say, it wasn't exactly filled to the brim with audience members... but surprisingly I did run into people that I knew!! small world, the world of east asianists...
