Also, I need to complete my benefits enrollment stuff by Thursday. I keep getting these reminder e-mails EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY. Ok already! I know the deadline is coming up. Hmmm.

I don't really ever swear verbally. I especially don't say "fuck" pretty much at all. But apparently I have no qualms about writing it. I thought it was hilarious that in my creative writing workshop, the following sentences from my second short story got read out loud TWICE during the discussion:

Fuck, he said. It’s just what we need, he said, fuck.

They really relished the word, too, when they read it out loud.
