I'm sitting here crouched in my unlit apartment. The laptop screen is the only visible thing around. This really is quite a dark apartment, with the windows facing a shaded woods outside.

Deadlines are a pain. I'm racing against a couple of deadlines right now for dissertation fellowships next year. I need to print out this incorrigible research description and make six copies of it in the next hour so I can get over to campus to grade papers. Fun.
