Interesting idea, especially if they got a bunch of different people to wear them. I don't like what the word feminist has come to mean, and how people misuse or misunderstand it, but anything that might make at least one person think about certain issues is good in my book.
Yeah. It's definitely worth doing, I think, because so many people have a caricatured idea of the militant, unattractive feminist with armpit hair and stuff that they then can easily deride (I personally love that image).
These t-shirts, incidentally, came about in part because last year Duke students (don't know which group) wore shirts around campus saying, "Gay? Fine by me." Apparently the shirts sparked much conversation.
